Today we have the Dez Maarsen Interview, Lionel Cardoso made the trip from Paris to Holland to catch up with Dez and discuss his life, habits, his daily routine, growing up with in Holland, his fears, motivation and really dig into how Dez built his career.     I really love how flatland always produces it’s own media coverage out of pure love and dedication. No profits, or ratings, just getting it out there for the people.

  2. Agreed, great interview Lionel. SSSF (super, smooth, stylish,fast is what I like when I saw past footage of Dez. I love the rollback to whopper and if I recall correctly, the decade off the pedals, rolling backwards. And ever since I first seen Dez do the forward K-cruiser to pivot to turbine fork wheelie. That’s never got old for me. I can relate to being part of a team, where it was myself first, as the flatlander, then another rider, but it had a roller blader and breakdancer. The difference between Dez and that team is, he’s managed to make a full time job riding. And great for him, having the family support.
