Yesterday the Fight the Winter Contest went down in Göttingen, Germany. Congratulations to Dominik Nekolny who won the contest that used a judging system inspired by the Winter Olympics. Martin over at http://www.global-flat.com judged the event and explained the format. “Every rider had 2 runs, best run counts. The 3 judges were scoring (1 to 10 points) all runs immediately, showing the scores to the riders and audience right after the run in order to increase transparancy. The average of the three scores were then used to determine the final ranking.” Thank you to Manuel Bernardo for sending in this dope contest edit so fast!
