Fucking brilliant!! So awesome to get some more of London bikes history. The S&M Sabbath dropped the platform in y2k, but James was YEARS ahead of that?! LOL what an OG! The spark is real. He’s so god damn right. Without organic mass appeal, all the schools, clinics, and demos will or may only get say one person out of how many? And I’m still all for clinics, demos, schools, etc because all efforts count somewhat. Flat fuckin matters, but for any large influx in interest it needs that spark. This interview is gold. It felt like hanging out and havin a relaxed chat over a cuppa tea n a few spliffs. It’s a real treat to hear the opinions and thoughts of some of the greatest our artform/sport/lifestyle has produced. Guys like Pete Brandt and James White have so much genuine real life flatland knowledge its like unlocking a vault of flat history. Anyone that gets the opportunity to chill n ride with James or any of the few people in that league of flatlander, better appreciate that moment. Epic content here. This is a really in-depth interview with a lot of things I had no idea about . Loving these podcasts ! I’m stoked , just now finding out about James being influenced by Amos Burke to remove his brakes . I’m still watching Amos , his section in Shutdown to this day ! As James said about Amos…..raw style , indeed ! James is such an elite O.G. , TIMES 7…….I’ll say it again ….Fifty shades of White was such a excellent edit showing you how deep his tricktionary is and has always been…thank you , Hang five podcast , keep em coming !
