  1. Forget pro, I’ll jump to “super pro” so Sam has some company in this brand new class that King of Southsea is creating just for him.

    • Tricky subject. I actually think its respectable he’s waiting, he obviously doesn’t feel ready to turn pro. Your sandbagging if you win all the time in my opinion, and he hasn’t. I’d say thats fair. However if he does win KOS, then he may be feel like he wants to have a pop at the pro class. I don’t see more than 15 in Pro, so it’ll be interesting.

  2. #rumourhasit that i’m still doing an edit with Mr Gopal somewhere who knows my place or Sarrfsea yeah i’m still on the rumour mill as his obsession with me continues on his Twitter and Facebook page yawn get over it ,its getting boring you’ve got more chance seeing a rocking horse shit than that happening haha
Wish i could make it but seems like you have got judges Johann is a good one if he turns up , but alas i’m away that weekend for a family wedding 🙂

    • In reply to Lee. If you don’t feel Pro level, I think it reasonable to step down to Expert level.I don’t have any objection to that. Part of the problem within flatland and bmx in general is there isn’t a system for “turning pro”. I’ve been talking to a few people about this, and seems like be timely to do an article on this, with various opinions. maybe we could reach a collective opinion on what happens.

  3. This is such a touchy subject haha.

Like E said, it’s when a rider wins a (large) expert contest, and continues to repeatedly enter hoping to do the same again. It’s that matter of consistently placing very high in a competitive class, although for some it might just be a matter of taking that win once and jumping up to overwhelm yourself to force progress.

I just realized I’m at a severe disadvantage to you Brits, as I’ve never had to ride in wellies before, so don’t know how it will go my first time around in Southsea.

And Howard, who is obsessed with whom at this point? Please stop harassing me about me harassing you. Jog on.

  4. i enjoy riding pro, but havent competed in nearly two years and not as consistant as i was, as long as theres no objection, then il ride pro

  5. And i never mentioned harrasment but plastering my name on your page in a Twitter comment regarding an edit which i know nothing about is a bit sad a bit obsessive really.

  6. Effraim if you need an extra judge as i see they have already been picked out of a bag or by phone then i’d gladly be interested
As you know my judging experience has included Urban Games 2000,2001,2002 ,K.O.C a few when asked , and i judge everybody on here apparently so the experience is there and an honest opinion based on a performance not on a name is essential as is the essence of a fair decision , as i judge and have an opinion anyway i thought i would be the ideal candidate as an opinion is my entitlement and my human right .
