  1. good sense of humor 😉

Also what he says about japanese riders, i really agree, they’re so open minded. They’re no about refusing trends or doing exclusively trends. They’re using whatever they feel like using….open minded… One of the many reasons we all love japan, the variety of styles coming out of this country…

    • Just added Matti’s run from the Flatland Fury contest in 2002 as a reference to some new school riders who perhaps don’t know some background on Matti. What a run! And true words about being open minded also….

  2. I noticed that too Mark. It seems like it would pull more like radial does on the flange so it might not be advisable.

  3. missing the days where there was actually room to do any kind of run you wanted and not just limited to spinning .___.

  4. I love matti’s style, he has a bit of the basic styles or types of tricks. rolling , spinning ,flipping you name it. I’d love to see a good 3 minute edit of him!

@ srj actually in my opinion Jomopro’s contest floor isnt that small if you want to check that out. i can see a straight rolling style rider being able to get stuff done there

  5. there was this Props vid on the world’s in Portugal or Spain, something like that in the late 90’s, and Matti was riding a blue GT the alum. whatever frame, awesome footage !

  6. There is an up to date video edit missing with Matti riding that blitz frame. Matti get yourself up and throw some combos of you on tape. Just for the fun of it. You are such a good rider, you don´t have to hide anything!
