couldnt agree more.. who knows why not??

  3. I have been trying to figure out what makes people comment for years! I have just gotten to the point if I get one thats great. This makes me feel so excited! All I want to do is ride in and out. When I see this combo this really gives me hope that I can simply ride in and out! This was AWESOME!

  4. That last switch jump was huge and almost stalled out. I’m psyched about the direction Martti has been pursuing with his riding.

  5. The comment about “trying to figure out what makes people comment…”was very interesting to me as my profession spends considerable time and effort focusing on encouraging ‘participation’ in various discussion forums.

The adage in flatland that we are a ‘community’ has an inviting feel for youngsters (i.e. those searching for an identity of sorts). Leaving a response prompt such as: ‘Do you feel Martti will complicate this link further by eventually rolling backwards?’ provides direction for a response, and it is important to validate responses made to encourage further comments.

Almost everyone who consistently comments on this site have had comments validated at one point or another. Simply put…they feel part of the ‘community’. It’s like taking time to say ‘hi’ or giving a friendly smile to the little dude that stops for a minute to watch you ride; it may spark his interest to become the next flatland pro. Interestingly, if you read this entire response and don’t reply then self-introspection may reveal ‘why people don’t respond?’

    Keep enjoyin’ the ride!

Thats probably one of the best responses I’ve read to a fm thread yet! So true Reggie, I like how you broke that down!

  6. Marrti is opening more doors with eveyr edit. Everytime I see one of these new clips I just see more possibilities! I can only imagine what it would look like to see that jump switch to xfoot crackpacker!
