  1. originality at its best. You need such a free spirit and strong self confidence to go your own way this much…respect adn admiration !

  2. maybe i liked his riding in older edits better, but anyway its unbeliveable what smn can do if he is openminded

  3. this is directly connected to the post about rodney mullen. hope someone gets inspired by this guys riding and carries on bits of miyata style in his own way, and i wouldn’t call it coying

  4. great to see some riding that’s not endlessly spinning on either the front or back wheel. I enjoy the originality of riders like this. Great job !

  5. Firstly, this video is amazing. Love the original style. Love to see something that is cultivated over a long time. Labour of love! Beautiful. I went straight back to working on some more original things that have been on the backburner after watching this.

Secondly! Steiny! We were all studying a picture on Holmes’ fridge of you yesterday with a chrome and gold bike with front and back brakes. Coincidence!?!?!? Remember, at the time when you went brakeless and stopped scuffing it was super-open-minded!!! See you in Japan!

WTF?!?!?!? Ciaran is the most original rider of the past 5 years. Even if he did quit, he’s contributed more to flatland than nearly all of us (including myself of course) ever will.

  6. Anyway, more on this video. It’s doing the round with all of my front brake riding skatepark and street friends. They’re really interested in the stalled out kk and the other stall. They see it like a nosepick and think about learning that kind of stuff to take onto the deck of a ramp or out of a bank. I hope they try – then they will respect the difficulty a lot more!!! Anyway, the video is inspiring for a lot of people.

Where is this guy in Japan? I want to go to his city and meet him.
