Rich Upjohn – KOF – October 1988 from kchapman on Vimeo.
It’s great after all these years to catch up on footage from New England, the King of Flatland brought out a lot of amazing riders from the N.E scene, check this run from Rich Upjohn from October 1988.
East Coast Ripper, remember Live Wire Zine and vid he was in still rides i believe ,gotta love that run so many sick tricks , 1:34 Karl Kruiser holding the frame WTF crazy so holding seat switch footed rebate thing that Moto does ,this was 88 folks pioneers right here bangin stuff from Rich Upjohn 🙂
Yeah Rich, that run was sick!!! Yeah Rich still rides quite often.
Tons of rolling tricks for ’88. What bike was he riding? Ozone?
Looks like a General R.L Osborn frame.
It looked like a Redline too, so that makes sense. I still love the chrome look.
its a General Fred Blood model
If I could get my hands on an old school ride (Dino Comp, Redline RL 20A, Bully etc.) I’d practice on it. Flatland Fuel recommended the Hoffman when I got back into riding about 2 years ago. It’s good but I’m old school. What do you ride Howard?
Autum Bikes Razzia .
Style right down to the pants! so glad to here he still rides. The death truck he done in one of those radazine vids still inspires me to this day!
Yeah James spoke to him on Facebook , he’s still got those moves plus a ton more ,sick rider.
Reggie spoke to Rich yeah you were right although he did ride a General but not then here’s what he said ” Pretty sure that was my RL20-II. The double top tubes were narrow at the front, so they looked like one, but you can see the way they wrap around the 5″ head tube, because they’re chrome. I rode an RL20b and two General Osborne Pros. Now that I think of it, I must’ve really liked RL’s designs”
Gotta love OSS 😉
All good bikes in my opinion Howard.
Got my frame off James White Reggie, i’d reccomend it Autum are great .
