Killer old school footage of Phil killing it at the infamous spot his bmx rider interview was shot at back in the day. Sounds like Lincoln Blacksley filming, Lincoln?

Brentwood Essex,classic UK flat.
has there ever been a time when phil hasnt been amazing on a bike
@Lee he wasn’t that great on his Ultra Burner & Firebird tbh ! But things changed real quick!
This is from my original tapes that Ross Milne has, aka Cheeky Monkey Productions. Ross is currently uploading lots of my footage to YouTube.
We did 3 photo shoots in Brentwood precinct, R.A.D magazine with Tim Leighton Boyce behind the Lens, The Independent Newspaper magazine & Hudsons BMX now. I have copies of these mags still. Great era for UK flat in hindsight along with are weekend meets at Southbank with Bisseker, White, Molby & Aju. Was a bit like the York scene but U.K based I suppose when looking back on it.
Paul Osicka & Geoff Martin also came down to Brentwood to Ride!
James Molby wasn’t he from Margate or something Lincoln ? wonder where he is now ,dude was rad and Aju still have his number wish he still rode nice guy also never realised the Hudsons were behind BMX now .Great times cool info thanks.
The scuffing in this looks fluid!
Do you know exactly what year this is- 91 or 90 maybe?
i had an ultra burner, it was awesome
First time i met Phil he was on a Revcore, and he was riding in a beret hahaha, at chingford jam, already doing chainsaws!
91 i think Johann.
i know phil used to split his time between brentwood and cardiff back in 91 as his brother was living down the road from me. mostly nightime sessions in the city centre or a ncp car park with phil, mike cameron, evo, etc. good times. phil liked the cardiff nitelife back then. ha.
First time i saw Phil was 87 on his Hutch Trickstar with Lincoln on his Blue Haro Master this would be at Meanwhile they would be shredding the place ,these were the days of South Bank wednesday night sessions with Aju (legend) ,Andy Brown,Paul Gerlach,Doug,J Hassell,Nick Phillip,Lunnie,Dave Dean etc also the Chingford days they had a few jams there in 87/88 one was sponsored by local M Zone local Croydon based surf/skate shop, great days 🙂
Think this footage was the winter of 1990. That surface was new at super slippery!
