Saga Flatland Contest

Check out these awesome edits from grassroots japan! The jam/contest took place at the city of 656 square Saga on June 17, 2012. The first edit features Keisuke Tanagawa tearing it up with a nice xft spinning hitch line, and an unknown dude at 6:48, incredible flow! Nice mix in these edits of tech, beginner level, and pure fun, highest bunnyhops, good vibes from japan!

  1. WOW. only about 200 seconds of this was worth watching. First video starting @ 0:58 – 2:30 is the stupidest crap i’ve ever seen. taking off the shirt? doing lame corny shit.

theres a lot of complete garbage in these videos. can we please stick to real flatland and not 2 wheels on the floor crap.

guys like that should be disqualified. they send the wrong impression of flatland to the masses.

    • I guess awesome was the wrong word to use. Bit what I meant by awesome was that, these guys and girls are having a blast. The first edit had a nice mix of all levels, that is pretty awesome in my book, its a productive scene. I would love to go back over to japan again! These grassroots contests/jam seem like a real good time! Love Keisuke’s combo!

  2. I actually watched all three vids the whole way through and enjoyed them.
Looked like a lot of fun, reminded me a bit of when i started riding. Just going out and having fun on my bike. Also reminded me that I need to build a bunnyhop high-jump too!
Some really good riding in there. Keisuke’s combo was tight but the unknown dude really stood out for me, really nice style and flow!

  3. Looked like a fun jam. Who exactly are these ‘masses’ that therapy is going on about? It’s good to know that there are people like this to police flatland for us and make sure we are keeping it ‘real flatland’ by insisting we only watch tricks involving one wheel. It gets so boring seeing people doing new things all the time.
