Our long time friend Seiji Sakata who Wowed the world with a dynamic no-break riding style from 2002 to 2006, was recently diagnosed with liver cancer..
When he went to see a doctor for the first time, the cancer was already as big as 2/3 of his liver and told that the chance of survival was only low%..
Obviously low% chance of survival was a very devastating news to him but he is fighting his battle right now!
When you talk about a difficult situation with Seiji, he always had a way to find a breakthrough and won many contests in the past so I’m sure he can overcome this life threatening challenge against him with a support of fellow riders and friends.
I’m not talking about a miracle but I’m believing in his strength!
So what I would like to ask all of you international friends, is to send him a message to tell him that he is not alone.

Best wishes and a healthy recovery to Sakata! His impact back in ’01 was huge, one of early brakeless killers in the Japanese scene at that time as an expert before a lot of the legendary pros made the switch. Respect for his riding and the tremendous battle up ahead… Stay strong!
Hello, Seiji, this is Fabiano from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I am a flatlander just like you, I had cancer and a lot of fighting, faith in God, support from family and friends, I managed to win, I want you to have strength and faith too because nothing is impossible with God. I also wish that in addition to being victorious on the bike you are also in life.
Fight with all your strength your family and flatland still need you.
Always loved Seiji’s riding, fantastic style and flow.

I had this battle in the end of 2013 until beggining of 2014 (kidney´s tumor) and know how tuff is that.Sending positive vibrations to Seiji!
