Call it nostalgia, but I’m a big fan of the New England scene since the days of swapping ‘zines with Kieran Chapman back in the 90’s. Check out this awesome Tables & Fables “YO” DVD that was just put online. Tony Long is the man behind it all, he really pulls all the New England BMX scenes together..every discipline is covered but there are more than a few good flatland clips in here from Kieran Chapman, Rick MacDonald, Sunny Singh, Jim Cavanaugh, Steve Jordan, and many more!!! Definitely one of the longest standing bmx scenes in america with immense talent and immense output of videos and zines. Even today the boston scene is probably the biggest flat scene next to austin… and steve jordan rippppps!!!

I’m always amazed how many riders of ever disciplined ride in NE, its still so underground. Flatland alone there’s over 50 active riders, and even more in hiding. The Dirt scene is HUGE too, shit loads of very good riders!
