Man, I miss Flatland Manifesto! Shane Neville put so much work into these flatland video magazines, if you missed these it really is worth your time to sit down, and take all this in.Thank you Shane! Issue 1 featured the La Revolution from Toronto, How to Pinky with Cory Stratychuk, ESPN B3 in Anaheim, California (this section rules!), Art Thomason Interview and more. So much good riding, 19 years ago. Wow!
Today is a good day for edits, well actually….. Lil Doses #9 is a full length flatland video by Adam Guild that deserves your attention. What I especially like about this feature is that the riding is not reserved only for the elite. The riding content covers expert level through to pro level riding featuring Scott Hagnas, George Manos, Giannis Caterllis, Pedro Melo, Dax Wolford, Michael Shao, David Walters, Alejandro Marques, Adam Guild, Dan Hamilton, Bri Welch, Anthony Schneidewind, Louis Orth, Erin Fricke, Joe Cicman, Rodney Williams, Francis Chase Santos, Rosey Taylor, Jay Marley, Kevin Howell, Juan Carlos Moronta, Ramón Lopez Colon, Thiago BB, Robert Victoria, Lindsey Bode, Art Thomason, and Bryan Huffman. Lil Doses #9 runs for 1:19, when you have the time give this one a watch. Props to Adam Guild putting this one together!
* Pedro Medina. Rest in Peace – this one is for you.
Anthony Schneidewind just came through with this awesome edit from the Detroit stop of the AFA Flatland series, featuring the likes of Jean William Prevost, Art Thomason, Jean-Francois Boulianne, and many more including a little cameo of Mat Hoffman on vert and Steven Hamilton jumping over riders outside the contest. Good vibes throughout this one!

Day 5 of the trip, it’s Friday. The build up to the contest is getting real, everyone is moving just that one step faster. We woke up to sunny skies again, and I wondered if I would get through this annual trip to Colorado without seeing the snow. James, Todd, Will Redd, and Bill Nitschke started to talk about making an edit for the week, of the best clips, but needed an intro. After much laughter, James started playing the Geto Boys “Damn it feels good to be a gangsta”, next thing the house and the cars outside made it feel like a movie set. It started the day off continuing the great vibe that’s been here all week in Monument.
The archive keep coming, another great blast from the past today that many of you might have seen but need to. Shane Neville did an amazing job with Flatland Manifesto, issue 1 has great coverage from the La Revolution contest in Toronto, Houston Texas scene repo, Art Thomason, How to pinky squeak with Cory Stratychuk, and a amazing Anaheim B3 contest edit: look out for the xft hitch backwards backpacker line from Martti Kuoppa at 32:34 mark that just keeps going. 16 years later this still rules!
Sweet highlights edit by Rad Dad to check from last weekends Texas Flatland Roundup contest in San Antonio featuring James McGraw, Dax Wolford, Will Redd, Art Thomason, Diego Tejada, Adam DiClaudio and EZ Chris Anderson.
Summer time is here in June, often one of the best months of the year for content, quality edits and plenty of contests going down down across the globe. Take a check back on what went down this year….
There aren’t enough scene edits anymore, so today I was stoked to find in my inbox this awesome Texas Scene edit entitled “We are” featuring just about everybody who makes up the Texas Flatland scene from Art Thomason to Ruben Castillo to John Yull, this is a good watch!
