Snakebite BMX just uploaded a lost gem from the archives, I feel like not many of you will have seen this video from 1993. West Coast 4130 documents the So Cal riding scene featuring sections from Edgar Plascencia (4:58), Sean McKinney (12:10), Day Smith (24:26), mixed section 29:26 featuring many more riders like Gabe Weed, Andrew Arroyo, Jesse Puente…. Plenty of time to kill at the moment, and this one is worth a watch and a trip down memory lane. West Coast style!
The good folk over at Snakebite BMX uploaded this blast from the past last night, Wilkerson Airlines: Non Stop To San Francisco takes you back to how BMX videos used to be. Flatland amongst BMX, not just a sideshow. So much good riding threaded throughout the video in this one from the likes of Gabe Weed, Day Smith, Chad Degroot, Edgar Placencia, and many more.
*I will be logging full box videos under the “BMX Videos” tag on the sidebar for all those wishing to watch full videos!
Classic Monday’s, it’s been a while! And we return with a certified classic, Madd Matt produced by Mark Eaton back in 1995. Great sections from Day Smith with an amazing soundtrack (7:23) and James White in York, PA (21:03) and plenty more with little flatland clips thrown in here and there.
Great to see this Flatland Fugitive video resurface again, the influential flatland crew from Los Angeles helped inspire everyone in the flatland community during the 90’s and their influence can still be felt today. If you haven’t seen this one, well worth a watch with great riding from the likes of Day Smith, Sean Peters, Nate Hanson, Edgar and Ivan Plascenia, Sean McKinney, Leo Dumlao, Andrew Arroyo, Jesse Puente, Richard Zabzdyr (R.I.P), and more…
I’m on a bit of mid school kick at the moment, and really enjoyed watching this Moreno Valley, CA BS Contest 1994 contest footage by mini ramp lord, Kurt Schmidt. Great riding from the likes of Trevor Meyer, Jesse Puente, Sean McKinney, Day Smith, Edgar Plascencia, and Chris Young. If you like watching contest runs, you’ll enjoy this one!
Happy New Year everyone!
Starting 2019 with a belter from the archives courtesy of Adam Guild. The 1993 BS Contest at Scrap Skatepark in Chicago, USA. The edit starts out with some great park footage from Dave Mirra RIP, Dennis McCoy and Jay Miron. The flatland kicks in at the 2:55 mark with the likes of Chase Gouin, Chad Degroot, Day Smith, Edgar Plascencia and Ross Smith. The final line by Ross is still to this day absolutely ridiculous, well worth a watch!
