Congratulations to Hiroya Morizaki who won the Freestyle Fes in Japan followed by Takuga Higa and Yuki Itoh in third, hopefully some coverage from this event soon.
Combine Dez Maarsen, Takuya Higa, Seiya Higa, and the one and only Yuki Itoh riding and behind the lenses and production and you have one hell of a session. This one went down at Midnight, which is pretty common for the japanese riders.
Yuta Watanabe, Masashi Itani, Takuya Higa, Akihiro Kasahara, Yu Yamamoto, and Mizuki Takahata all feature in this new Toyosu Jam Vol.5 edit by yukipkoproject. Great edit as always by Yuki, enjoy this one!
It’s a good day when yukipkoproject aka Yuki Itoh drops a new edit and today we have the Toyosu Jam Vol 4 to enjoy with plenty of treats from Mizuki Takataha, Takuya Higa, Naoki Watanabe, Masashi Itani, Yuta Watanbe, Yuki Itoh, and a guest appearance from Hiroya Morizaki. Definitely worth a watch!
Yukipkoproject is fast becoming the man when it comes to high quality flatland edits, and today we have a treat all the way from the land of the rising sun. Yuki just dropped an amazing Toyosu Jam Vol.3 with a whole variety of styles from Seiya Higa (that opening line at 00:18!), Syunsuke Nakamura, Koh Yoshida, Keisuke Maki, Takuya Higa (that pivot at 1:33, wow!), Sakura Kawaguch, Mizuki Takahata, Oomoto Hisashi, Hiroya Morizaki, Yuki Itoh not only a very talented film maker, pivot master in full effect at 2:42!, Masasha Itani gets the last line at 3:41. I suggest you get a cuppa and start your day out right, thank Yuki for this beautiful edit!
Tamaru Naoto just uploaded a nice edit from the A-Trick vol.2 contest last year in Tokyo, Japan. Great riding from the likes of Takuya Higa, Fumiya Kanna, and many more!
June got off to a banger with Quentin Pelorson’s Seeking Part 3 edit on June 2nd. From the opening downside whiplash pedal 5 stepped beautifully into x-ft halfpacker, this edit really caught my attention. Quite possibly my favourite line is at the 1:13 mark, I’ve already rewinded this part twice to work out what happened, I could go on and on here.
The clocks go forward one hour, that feel good factor that the extra daylight brings, more riding time equals more time filming and documenting what you do. April was a busy month!
Deco’s Chad Degroot kicked off the month and had this to say:
“Since I starting riding my head wants me to learn as much as possible and this includes bars backwards tricks. The beginning of this link I learned this day so to make more smooth flow and no scuffing. The middle has been a gem and great feeling to whip the backend around with no brakes and keep speed. The end is bars backwards and played a huge head game for a bit because I had to push so much momentum to get into the backyard position and pump to keep speed. Real excited to move past the 15 second persona and get onto the longer story of this trick.”
March is always a good month, springtime is coming and after a long winter its nice to be able to ride outside again. Not to mention generally there is a whole lot more content coming through from riders worldwide.
On the first day of March, Paul Chamberlain just dropped a real nice promo for the Down Underground 2016 series, filmed at his local riding spot in Summer Hill. Plenty of awesome hang 5 variations in signature Paul Chamberlain smooth style, well worth watching again.
Hit play for the last months instagram clips with the DecoBMX team featuring Terry Adams, Chad Degroot, Thomas Noyer, Takuya Higa, Tang Meng, Alejandro Marques, Scott Weaver, and Mannie Nogueira.
