The Flatmatters Year End Awards 2014 / The Must Watch edits of September!

Just a couple of days left for the 2nd annual Flatmatters Year end awards, without further a due. September was an amazing month for flatland, check out the best videos right here! So much to take in right now it is getting a lil’ crazy here at FM HQ!

We have all been waiting for this! And it does not disappoint! 13:48 of absolute bangers from two of flatland’s all time greats, Martti Kuoppa & Viki Gomez, do I even have to tell you to watch this??!!!

This is up a bit later than I would have liked, but copyright issues with the track used during the final stopped this going up quicker. Special shout to Joe Cicman not only for shooting the final battle footage but also for this edit of the battle! Hit play to watch an intense battle between Alex Jumelin and Jason Plourde!

Do not miss this new “Fareast Cycles Welcomes Benjamin Hudson to the Team” edit, Benjamin brings so much tech to the front wheel! I’m hitting the rewind to watch this again! So stoked on this!

The BITR video contest certainly got everyone talking, so many amazing entries and so much controversy! The progression of flatland went up a notch thanks to James McGraw and this new contest on the flatland calendar!

Part 4 of Moto Sasaki’s amazing video series just dropped! And like you come to expect from Moto, there are some heavy bangers in this one! Look out for the backwards spinning pedal karl foot on the bars to pedal steam around the 1:14 mark and also the ender which I will not spoil for you!

Wild new opposite xft halfpacker pivot to two footed steam pivot to xft half packer utilising both sides of the bike! A trick Viki calls “Spaghetti Legs”, hit play!

Tight promo edit for igi with Jason Plourde and Dub killing it and having fun in Québec City! Enjoying the last of the sun before winter kicks in, dub’s new pegs are available at Any enquiries email:

Incredible new edit out of Mateus Beckmann, it appears the young prodigy from Brazil can drop bangers in street (x-hand tooth hanger anyone? Smith hard 180 bar) and of course Flatland, the steeziest one handed brakeless smith I think i’ve ever seen and the x-handed rolaids as the final banger are so good! Pure BMX, this is awesome to watch!
