man would like to go to this, bit too short notice for me wot with kos
as Matti has been away for months with olympic torch tour and various other riding jobs this has been a ‘maybe’ for a month or 2 but he only had the go ahead after a meeting with the folks at M sheds on monday. riders competing get free food and refreshments that day too so all you got to do is get there. should be a good day.
One thing i reckon Matti should do is enter though. he seems to think it ain’t right to enter your own contest but plenty have done it over the years. he said he would rather ride for fun that day but i reckon it won’t do no harm to enter. there is a title for the winner to hold for a year. what are others thoughts?
I agree with Matti, I came to same conclusion a few years ago. One of the reasons I dont enter King of Southsea anymore. The problem is our scene is tiny, so riders not riding stands out. Catch 22 situation, Matti is trying to put on the best event as possible, riding can take away from that.
Wish I could go too- just too short notice for me to attend a week after Southsea. I’ll deffo be up for the next one if it’s now cemented in the Uk flatland calender!?
