Vans announce the Matthias Dandois signature shoe!

Huge news today from Chengdu, China. Vans have just announced the signature Matthias Dandois Vans shoe. Is this the first signature flatland shoe?

I just got a first look here in the UCI flatland area, there’s a nice flatland specific detail to this shoe. A small protective area in the middle of the shoe to protect your foot against the fork. The black and pink colourway is dope, stoked for Matthias and flatland on this one. Well deserved!

  1. THIS is friggin…SSLLLAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMED , and a great achievement , TIMES 7 ……..Id purchase some , just to support him , and a BMX FLATLAND SIGNATURE shoe ……and well , lets all just be honest……This cat has earned and deserves something like this. He pushes , produces HARD on his bike….. whether it be contests , jams , social media AND his edits …..ALL @ the SAME time / ALL year round , EVERY year , haha…….CONGRATS , Matthias !

  2. Stoked to see some support for flatland in this regard. Stoked on what Mathias does, as he’s a phenomenal rider that’s given his life to bmx. Now that being said.
Unfortunately, sorry not sold. Never liked vans shoes. Cheaply made, floppy, thin soled shoes with minimal to no support at all. All image. Yet to see and experience the function.
Always going to be over priced children’s shoes to me.
I’m waiting on the Pete Brandt signature J’s. I’d bet that if they ever existed the insoles would provide proper support, thus promoting happy comfortable lower backs after many hours of adult riding. They may never come….but I’ll remain optimistic and keep waiting.

    • That’s why I put a question mark? I wasn’t that sure without looking around on the net, I hear Hiroshi also had a signature vans shoe that sold in Japan with 430.
