Backwards rolling ice cream on the seat, Kaniplus gets it done. With a short explanation to follow on the trick and the steps he took to learn it, although in Japanese you can understand from the movements shown on the bike.

Rodney Mullen – How to Use Pain to Become the Best In the World
Every so often I like to showcase a video or article outside of the flatland world that has parallels back to what we do on the daily. Rodney Mullen has always been a source of motivation for me personally since I saw him skate at Southsea Skatepark, and in this particular video he talks about how he digs deep and keeps pushing what is possible and impossible. Fascinating and inspiring to say the least, everyone needs to watch this.
Gilles Van de Sompel – Death truck to blender
Plenty of updates over the last few days here on Flatmattersonline. And here’s a smooth one from Gilles Van de Sompel, making the two footed death truck to blender look easy.
Percy Marshall – Yeah
One of the biggest characters on the global flatland scene is most definitely, Percy Marshall! Stoked to see him back on his bike and attacking the front and back wheel in this short edit.
Akira Okamura – Spaceark
It’s already been a good day for edits on FM! Akira Okamura is as hardcore as they come out in Kobe, Japan ripping it up for the Flatland store, Spaceark. The flip in and out of the ice cream at 00:35 is amazing, hit play and enjoy the updates today!
Giannis Caternellis – Freestyler #91
From the opening freak squeak on the stem, I was locked into this 91st edit from Giannis Caternellis, always a few surprises to enjoy from this shredder.
Jontamsang Session
From TV Coverage of Flatland to Malaysia and @paktambmx, @nurhazme_bk, @hafaya enjoy a Sunday session at Mont Kiara Skatepark. Rad to see a scene edit like this.
Palm Harbor hosts Labor Day BMX Flat Jam
Jay Marley just hosted the annual Labor Day Flatland jam in Pearl Harbour, Florida. Local Tv Station, 10News WTSP got involved and hooked up with Jay, Terry Adams, Tyler Gilliard and a couple of other dudes for a bit of pre jam hype including the presenter attempting Hang 5’s.
Luke Malone – Power Age
Luke Malone killed it in the AM Master of Creativity contest and is already back with a fresh “Power Age” edit filmed in his infamous home parking garage riding spot. Really enjoyed this one, especially the brakeless flail boomerang to cliff without touching the tyre at 2:12. Today is a good day for edits on FM!
Joey Kyllo & Dusty Tweedhope – Level Up / Episode 1
Level Up – Episode 1 from Level Up on Vimeo.
I met Joey Kyle last year at the Battle in the Rockies, so I was stoked to see a fresh edit featuring JK and his friend, Dusty Tweedhope nicely shot in some great locations with a nice concept thrown in to measure. Great stuff guys!
“This is the first video of a planned series of edits, where we capture riding from flat riders in Western Canada. The idea of the project is to provide a platform for riders in the area, regardless of skill level, to push themselves and hit tricks that are next level for them. The next episode will feature a number of other am riders who are pushing themselves to learn and progress.”
