Nor Cal flatland legend/resident Pete Brandt talks about the current state of flatland, and throws down a few combos for good measure at the infamous Clocktower spot in San Francisco. This is awesome!

Very nice edit! Shayne knows what he’s doing. Pete dialed as ever, good to see some new footy. The man speaks the truth!
Right on pete!
Bang on! Really enjoyed this insight plus the riding from Pete, personally love the narrative when linked with riding like this, more of this please!
Respect. I didn’t know that he helped invent those parts, and I’ve been riding for 20 years. Great to see him still busting out.

Why are riders useing the bigger bars now days? Does it help you do tricks?
I know I started using bigger bars to prevent back pain, also helps a lot with leverage on certain tricks….
Cheers, Shayne! I was truly mesmerized by this video. It’s so interesting to hear Pete speak about his own riding. Yeah, we need more of this documentary footage.
I get more control from the extra leverage on my perfect 10’s, but i admit they’re hard to get around n over. However, in my opinion the trade off is worth it. Find what you like.
