Bo Wade stopped by the Haro offices in Vista, California to build up a new Avocado Green La Bastille frame and give it a proper break in session amongst the rows of racks in the Haro warehouse. Enjoy this one!
Fresh clips from Brian Tunney’s August sessions at the spot in Redondo Beach, California. This spot takes me back to being a kid, reading Freestylin’ and seeing RL Osborn, Chris Day and many more shredding. Smooth as ever skills from Mr Tunney.
Its always a good day when a fresh Nick Watts edit drops, love the father and son sessioning vibe going on in this edit filmed on 31st August in Nicks backyard. Pure freestyle!
I said many times here on Flatmattersonline, York Uno and AresBikes over in Japan really do a great job feeding the next generation into flatland. Minato Sato stars in this short promo video for the Ares kids’ bike, love this!
In 2010, Jeff Desroche was hit by a truck while he was walking on the side of the road. It’s taken Jeff nine years to get back to a point where he feels like he can progress again doing what he loves. Flatland! One of the best styles in the game for sure, the way Jeff moves around the bike is something else, so stoked to see Flatland can help and does help in your mental health. This Part 1 in a three part series, really looking forward to the next parts. This is so good, flatland really does matter!
Chad Degroot at Deco HQ celebrates 10 years of running Deco BMX with this strong edit featuring the likes of Sietse van Berkel, Lee Musselwhite, Tsutomu Kitayama, Scott Weaver and many more. At 15 minutes long, grab a cuppa and enjoy this. Congrats to Chad and everyone involved in Deco!
Its Voodoo jam week here on Flatmattersonline as the hype builds towards the big weekend in New Orleans. Today, we go back to the 2014 Voodoo Jam and a great edit that Mickey Gaidos produced. Who’s hyped for Saturday?

Today we have a special treat from the flatland archives, Alexis Desolneux’s first video part, winter 1991-1992, from “As The Wheel Turns” by Ryan and Brent Clawson, 1992. This was a huge video part for me during the early nineties, many of you won’t have seen this so hit play and feel the energy and Alexis’ riding at the time was electric.
