Just got word of a unique one off event in Leicester hosted by MGP’s Keelan Phillips running over five days!

“I have been given a shop for 5 days in a huge shopping centre in Leicester called The Highcross, and I’m going to invite any rider to come down and ride, we will be putting on some little shows, holding some fun battles and general having a session in an amazing space. The floor is smooth concrete and the shop is big and in a prime location, but any rider wanting to come down must let me know as theres some rules about bringing the bike through the centre.”

AMFLT Finals! Battle of the Rockies in Colorado / November 14/16th

Steve Lapsley got in contact with some good news for the 2014 AMFLT series!

The 2014 Am Flatland Circuit will finish the year with the Finals in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. “Battle in the Rockies” will be the 4th and final round will be held November 14/16th Colorado Springs is home to Garden Of The Gods National Park, the US Olympic Training Center Headquarters and the highest accessible mountain in America, Pike’s Peak. Friday will be a jam, Saturday will be the Novice, Veteran and Expert contest with Sunday being the Pro Contest. There will be after parties both Friday and Saturday night. Current list of sponsors includes: Flatland Fuel, London Bikes, Yellow Designs, Reklamation Bikes, Touch of Shade Window Tint, Louie’s Pizza, West Side Tattoo, The V Bar and Red Bull.
There will be a $5000 minimum Pro Purse (subject to increase) and there will be NO Pro Entry Fee.
Judges will be announced in two weeks and is looking to be a panel of flatland legends from three different countries.
There is also going to be a video contest for the top ten super pros from around the world to win free airfare to the event. Stay tuned for details on this.
The Battle in the Rockies has much more unique and exciting things in the works that will be announced in the coming weeks.
