Caught this a couple weeks ago . Always wondered if Chase ever did any FULL bars during his brakeless era……that was a dumb thought of me , haha. Got my answer in this edit . Switch foot steam , landing wrist twist / 180 body varial -side squeak ! THAT’S the PIFF ! ( meaning so , so good ! ) He was ( as he’s ALWAYS been. ) so damn ahead of the game with his riding in this edit. I’m stoked you caught / posted this Big -E . This edit is SLLLAAAAMMMED ( meaning second to none ! ) …..TODAY in 2026. I’ll never forget Thanksgiving night , 1991. Chase was riding for Homeless bike company with Eben Krakau ( LEGENDARY vert/ mini ramp rider from here in San Anto , T.X. , even was the FIRST rider to pull a whiplash in T.X. ….on the TOP fork / fold down Haro pegs ! ) Chase stayed with Eben’s family that holiday and myself and mi amigo rode bikes with Chase , Eben……from 9.38 p.m…….till 2.37 a.m. ! Chase actually taught me Mc circles that night…… then completely blew my mind doing alot of his signature lines/ tricks ,back to back in a parking lot that night after we were all done riding the Ramp-N-Rage skatepark…. and went to a huge car park to ride / finish the early morning with a Flatland session. Hang five step over to SIDE packer , all his signature twitches ……G-nu to X-leg wheelchair , G-nu to G-nu ( brake to BRAKELESS ! ) Bar small , multiple fire pinks , catch Dave Duster – climb over to cliff hanger ( BACKWARDS ! ) , etc ,etc……it was a night I’ll never forget . He also BEAT all of us in a full on ” head down , full stop , Double A -A.B.A ” race ……..PASSING all of us up …….doing MACH -27 ,MULTIPLE whiplashes…………( just think about it. We all were running 43 tooth front sprockets …..we were all FULLY pinned/ pedaling ! ) TOP 3 in BMX Flatland’s HISTORY…….CHASE GOUIN . Zero debate/ argument……Hell , THIS edit is a ” grain ” of Gouin’s BMX Flatland ” Sahara desert ” DOMINANCE of the sport ..
