Personal mods are awesome, here Michael Chua from http://www.bmxflatland.net explains how to make stem pad with a computer mouse pad.
1) a computer mouse pad;
2) a thin velcro strap;
3) a pair of scissors to cut the mouse pad; and
4) a sharp-tipped knife to cut small slots into the mouse pad material.

nice job buddy great idea 🙂 i used an old Hammer shin pad for a gyro tab cover ,just stitched some velcro onto it sure works.
