Johann Chan comes through with another gem from the archives, with James White. Here’s what Johann had to say:
“I was rummaging through my old VHS-C tapes recently and found a tape with JW June 98 written on it. I knew it would be decent if it was footage of James, but what I found was a full session of filming with James at South Bank from 1998, pre-brakless, and before he dropped the scuffing.
Packed with inside scuffing, clockwise, anti-clockwise, rolling both feet. James takes us through a dialled pre-brakeless trickionary on board his Hoffman EP.”
Insane how many difficult combos he does in one day. Definitely one of the best flatlanders ever. No doubt.
Thank you for uploading this gem , Johann ! I love this era of White @ South Bank . Lines with scuffing , rolling , and spinning tricks ….. all mixed in are so RAD. Please keep these coming , Johann , they stoke me. If you’ve got any footage of Forde during his London Bikes days -2004 , him doing long lines also with scuffing tricks mixed with steam roll flips , and his signature one footed / handed -right cross elephant glide…….and Dolan in his Proper bikes days-2003 , him doing all his fire pink , around the bars staple gun step switches – bars big/ small……please up load them. I’d greatly appreciate it…….AND some more of your riding where you’re ripping , riding street , park , flatland , and dirt. I love those ride EVERYTHING edits from you too , bruv !
