What a roller coaster ride it has been for Matt Wilhelm the past few weeks. Matt broke his finger leading up to the Worlds, and was pretty much thinking he would have to pull out. On his 5th attempt of riding, he felt good enough to make it happen!
And I bet he is happy he did, Matt turned in a flawless run that earned him third place at the iBMXff World Championships. An awesome story, thanks Matt for pulling through and showing what can happen with the right mindset! Massive respect!

Its a great story about Matt overcoming his broken finger and fighting for that third place spot. So much emotion when he rode out of the spinning forward death truck. Motivating to see this! Well done Matt!
Wasn’t it also a Worlds comp waaaay back when Mat Hoffman got his eye stitched up all shady and ended up winning the vert title? Hoffman Bikes must have some sort of “Take it like a Man” clause for all their riders… lol

AGREED ULTRAMAN ZOFFY !!!!! Matt SMASHING it , BOTH brakes , from the U.S is LEGIT/SLASHING !!!!!!!!!!!!! AMPED to see him back in the mix !!!! YEEEEESSSSS HOFFMAN BIKES does have that mindset for sure !!! Art Thomason just recently BADLY broke his toe……………………THEN went and did multiple demos/shows the next week like it wasn’t sh-t !!!!!!!!!! Don’t know if Jeremy Harabl still rides for them but hes the same also , would slam SO HARD on rails , gaps , GET UP/SEND IT ……………THEN pull whatever he was trying !!!! I’m PROUD to ride my HOFFMAN 97 E.P. frame TO THIS DAY !!!!!!!!
