saying good bye to my khe hubs 🙂
once this thing can be adjusted to have a nice big gap profile will be getting my money !
Thats not a good marketing video. Probably the hub works great, but that chainsaw sound is really a downer.
I’ve been out riding with Tyler a few times over the last week, the Profile coaster is next level in my opinion, weight , design and function.
The cassette sound is not as loud in person as it comes off in this clip.
It is very muted in person and I would say about half the volume of a regular cassette hub. Profile cassettes are loud but the freecoaster is not. The gap adjustment system is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Simple and genius.
I fully believe the wait for this is worth it and it will become the “holy grail” of freecoasters.
Can’t wait to test one out!
best of both worlds? im skeptical, only time will tell. one thing i do know is profile makes really good stuff……and i’m looking forward to the “holy grail”…
i personally agree w/ oliver. no matter how good it is, i never want to hear a freewheel buzz ever again
i think the buzz is good, it tells you when your in trouble/going down.
probably cost as much as some complete bikes…..
