Naotada Yamada – Freestyle Now recruit squad member
The Freestyle Now Squad continues to grow, today they just announced 10 year old ripper Naotada Yamada from Japan to their team. Below is official word:
“We would like to formally announce that young 10 year old Naotada Yamada from Osaka is officially on the Freestyle Now recruits squad. Japan has many talented young bmx flatland riders. Naotada took second place at flatark 2017 in the novice class showing how awesome his riding is. We believe he has a great future in bmx flatland. With time we hope Naotada will move on up through the ranks to be on the full Freestyle Now squad and keep rolling out the rad.”

Toyosu Jam Vol.10
It’s a good day for edits here on Flatmattersonline! Whenever Yuki Itoh aka yukipkoproject drops a new project I’m glued to the scene. This Toyosu Jam Vol.10 was filmed by Takaya Matsumoto and edited and directed by the man himself. As always the riding doesn’t disappointment and showcases multiple generations of riders from Yuki Itoh killing the front wheel at 1:22 mark through to the young buck Yuta Watanabe showing his skills at 00:39. Add Masashi Itani at 1:54 and Takuji Kasahara at 2:15 and you have one easy on the eye edit, not to mention the other riders. Love these edits from Japan!

Jean-Francois Boulianne just dropped this really awesome “The Charlatans Odyssey – BMX Flatland Greek Holiday” edit that at over 21 minutes long deserves your attention. Grab a cuppa, sit down and watch a nice mix of riding and lifestyle from Lee Musselwhite, Sakis Doumas, Romain George, Rémy Dunoyer, Aggelos Ignatiou, George Kikos, Grigoris Tsiapalis, Ben Badi, Anne-Sophie Chips and Jean-Francois Boulianne. Really enjoyed this one!

Kicking off Monday’s posts with this new edit out of Aaron Wright, I would always see Aaron ride on the Vibe DVD’s but then his name seemed to disappear from the scene. Today I was stoked to receive a message from Aaron celebrating his 41st birthday in style, happy birthday Aaron! Hit play for some RAD riding.
Matti Hemmings – Keep Your Chin Up
Today it is good to see a fresh edit out of one of the hardest working riders in the flatland scene, Matti Hemmings! Filmed in one session at his indoor spot in Portishead, Matti kills it! Especially liked the the 360 viral two footed ump truck line that ends in a no hand no footed dork wheelie at the 00:30 mark, and the knee 5 at 1:27! Well worth watching!
