Brian Tunney – Riding bikes alone in a garage, age 43

Fresh new Brian Tunney footage, here’s what he had to say about this one:

“This is just a random collection of clips from the first half of the year 2017, collected mostly between the nighttime garage spot and the outside spot near my now former apartment building. I was driving around listening to this new Mark Kozelek CD while throwing the clips together and decided to go with the song “Astronomy,” which I still like a lot.”

Must Watch! – John Yull’s Master of Creativity Round 1 Entry

It was once again a real pleasure to be invited to judge the 2017 Master of Creativity online competition. And it is especially so when you see entries like this from John Yull! Every trick is a banger and an NBD, well deserved first place! Well done John, mind blown!

Giannis Caternellis – Afypnisis III

It;s always a good day when Giannis Caternellis drops a new edit, rather than list down the combos he does. Here’s what Giannis had to say about his third tribute video to Seiji Sakata! (sorry he types in caps)

“I WAS THINKING THE WHOLE WEEK WHY THE PASSING OF SEIJI SAKATA SHOOK ME THAT MUCH… PERHAPS BECAUSE I MET HIM IN FLATGROUND 04 AND RODE TOGETHER AND I CLEARLY REALIZE HE WAS THAT QUIET GUY WHO HAD SO LOUD INFLUENCE AROUND 2002-2004 ERA WITH HIS SILENT PROGRESSION.THE THING THAT DRIVE’S ME CRAZY WHEN I THINK ABOUT IT IS THAT ALL THE FILMING I DID LAST MONTH TO GET THE AFYPNISIS EDIT LAST WEEK WAS THE MONTH THAT SEIJI WAS FIGHTING WITH LIVER CANCER. I KNOW GREEK CULTURE AND JAPANESE CULTURE ARE FAR AWAY IN BETWEEN BUT WE ARE ALL EQUAL UNDER THE EYE OF THE GOD. THE THING IS THAT I AM HEALTHY AND I WAS ABLE TO RIDE MY BIKE WHILE A FELLOW RIDER ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PLANET WAS PAINING IN HIS BED AND THAT MAKES ME SO DEPRESSED. I FEEL OBLIGADED TO DEDICADE ALL THE FILMING I DID LAST MAY TO ONLY ONE MAN, THE JAPANESE SAMURAI NAMED SEIJI SAKATA. IT’S THE LEAST I CAN DO AS A TRIBUTE IN HIS MEMORY.

P.S THE VIDEO STARTS WITH THE ONLY PHOTO I HAVE OF SEIJI FROM THAT FLATGROUND CONTEST.

REST IN PEACE SEIJI.”
