All photos by Josh Weiss – follow him on Instagram @insta_weiss

Like I said yesterday, Instagram and also twitter were going off with updates on the 2012 Voodoo pre jam. Besides the shot I posted already Terry took, fellow instagrammer Josh Weiss posted some great shots of the jam. I hit him up and asked if it would be cool to feature his photographs on the site, Josh sent me a ton of photos, so i’ve picked out a few, others may appear at a later date. In related news, Ross Smith showed up at the Pre-jam yesterday, much to the delight of every flatland fan out there, check the photo! Good vibes in New Orleans! Good luck to all those competing today!

Between 50-60 riders made it out to the pre-jam yesterday.

  1. Ross Smith is god watch and learn kids, Jumelin may have his work cut out entering U.S they are super strict there like Australia take it he has a job there and relevant Visa,Work Papers etc Green Card,Blue Card and a gray card ,good luck to him .

    • I believe Alex’s wife has a job as a school teacher at a top school, so moving there won’t be a problem for Alex and his family. Thanks again to Josh Weiss for the photos, top stuff!

  2. you have to live there for at least a year to gain citizenship not like here where its a free for all aka a joke ,will Alex be signing on the dole as he’s not working then E ?

  3. #rumourhasit #pralex was killing it in the rain yesterday, and they’re hungry to take those podium spots today.

  4. I’m chiming in to confirm the aforementioned rumors. I did indeed shoot the podium shot for the expert class yesterday with Team Pralex.

  5. The pre-jam was rained out, about 3/4 of the people left, the rain stopped, it dried, and we rode for another hour or two. Louisiana weather is crazy.

  6. #rumourhasit #Texas flatland riders don’t mind Pralex borrowing the podium for photo shoots…but they’ll need it back after their runs. Ha Ha!

    Great seeing Ross Smith there!

  7. can’t wait to see the footage, hope there”ll be some live webcast somwhere ? anyone knows it that’s going to happen ?

  8. I cannot believe Ross Smith has surfaced. This will be epic.
    Mad props to all involved.
Someone w/ a smartphone could easily set up a makeshift ustream feed, at the very least????
