This week’s OSS is dedicated to jam circle king, John Huddleston! Peep his run from the 1988 AFA finals in Wichita, Kansas. Love the tail whip elephant glide whips line at 1:57, so much style. Thatnks Kurt Schmidt loading this one up for the archives!
After Kevin, John was my next favourite rider!
King of Bustin’ out!
I love watching footage of Johns riding. Doing his own thing in ways that, at the time, you wouldn’t have expected.
Love this! There is some old footage from the spot over on Snakebite that I really like for a lot of the same reasons. Mr. Huddleston a and Chris Day had very stylish ways of connecting things with boomerangs and quick feet!

Ha! Good times with John. We used to ride with him and the Jim Dellavalle in East Stroudsburg on on the weekends, and they used to come to good ol’ Portland PA and ride in the abandon gym we turned into a riding arena. He really had a flair for the footwork, and a Chris Day feel to it. His tailwhip locomotive was best.
