Matti Hemmings – Up in Smoke

Matti Hemmings is one busy dude, aside from running the UK Flatland Championships and all the entails, he is always on the road performing in shows and filming projects like this. Up in Smoke shoot was shot at St Lukes Church that was Built in 1890 on the side of a hill in Abercarn, this impressive church was shut down in 1980 after suffering many years with problems with its roof. Matti managed to get permission to shoot here and this was the outcome, hit play and enjoy this one.

Louis Orth – Contents Under Pressure

Really enjoyed this new edit out of Louis Orth out of New Jersey, USA. Here’s what Louis had to say:

“This video part took me close to four years to complete. It was filmed from late 2012-2016. Some of my best tricks at the time are included. The reason it took so long to complete was because I ended up going back to school to get my Master’s Degree and my filmer lived about two hours away. Then once I finished school, I was constantly looking for work and my buddy was very involved with his own hobbies and life. I went through four different frames, three different brake set ups, countless tires, and enough mental turmoil to last me the rest of my life.”

Matti Hemmings – Colour of Us / BMX & Breakdance

I have seen a lot of photos on Matti Hemmings instagram from this “Colour of Us / BMX & Breakdance” shoot and finally here is the video. A dance test collaboration between Matti Hemmings and breakdancer Lauren Filer in an uptempo charged choreography of light and movement. Something a lil’ different.

Brandon Fenton – PerseveranceB&W

A nice friday treat for us all from Brandon Fenton! The opening scene is pretty powerful. Here’s what Brandon had to say:

“This video is about my exploration of a trick concept that has always been very challenging to me: the whiplash. In the opening scene I experience complete muscle failure in my lower back from pushing it too hard. The rest of the video is a testament to what can happen if you keep pushing yourself past your pain, your fear, your injuries, and other set-backs. You are a force. Don’t let anything stop you.”

Ben Querubin – 5 year retrospective pegless flatland

Ben Querubin out of Los Angeles, California just celebrated 5 years behind bars, hgere’s what Ben had to say about his retrospective edit:

“Kept this retrospective mostly flatland not much street.
Started flatland 8 years ago when I was 36. Took the pegs off at 3 years because of a skateboarding injury and couldn’t stand on a peg. But I could stand on the pedals and wanted to continue to ride. 44 years old and 5 years riding pegless. You can teach an old dog new tricks apparently. Thanks to Bill Freeman for direction and Chad Johnston for the pegless motivation and having the best stuff available to ride. Thanks to my kids Chloe and Gage for filming!”
