Plenty of amazing xft hitch jump to hitch plus backwards backpacker switches in the 106th episode of Giannis Caternellis’ freestyler series. Ideal viewing on a rainy day in Southsea, thanks for sharing this Giannis!

Art Thomason – 45 years
Art Thomason 45 years from art thomason on Vimeo.
Two back to back birthday edits, not often that happens here on Flatmattersonline. Art Thomason just celebrated his 45th birthday and quickly through together this edit shredding front and back wheel in his back yard riding spot. Happy birthday Art! You know what to do…
Aaron Wright – 43rd Birthday edit
Canadian flatland lifer, Aaron Wright just celebrated his 43rd birthday with this sweet edit. Great to see Aaron is still out there having run riding bikes. Belated Happy Birthday Aaron!
Throwback Thursdays with Leo Claro
Following Leo Claro’s amazing “Third Floor” part this week, this weeks TBT is a no brainer. Let’s go back to 2009 and Leo’s mind melting “Pegless” part, the inside rolling variations to pedal steam turbines that begin from the 00:33 mark still blow my mind to this day. Timeless flatland!
Must Watch – Matthieu Bonnecuelle & George Manos / Biface
BIFACE from HERESY BMX on Vimeo.
The Heresy team are full of surprises, and today we got something beautiful to add to the artform archives. This ticks a very different box in terms of a “Must Watch” edit, where this is more about two of the most creative riders in the flatland game interacting with each other in a combined space. Performance Art at its finest. Go watch this and enjoy…
“BIFACE is a raw experiment filmed in October 2019 around Narbonne (France).
Without carrying any particular meaning, the video came out like a primitive tool to shape a new form : a choreographic video mostly composed with BMX riding language.”
Léo Claro – Third Floor
Léo Claro is a name we don’t hear much of anymore, super stoked to see this new “Third Floor” edit out of the man himself. Leo looks to have gone on a stem lash frenzy over there Brazil, there’s multiples on lock, stem lashes out of Bottom bracket noses, and my favourite the inside switch foot pedal Karl at the 6 minute mark. High level pegless flatland right here.
Sietse Van Berkel – Chengdu Sessions
Whilst out in Chengdu, China for the Fise and UCU World Championships, Sietse Van Berkel was putting in work to get an edit done from his time in China with the help of his Four Pegs team mates, Gilles van de Compel and Irina Sadovnik. And like always, it’s a pleasure to watch Sietse move around the bike and truly do his own thing. Style for miles, and that ender at 2:04!
Williams Perez – Flatland Session
Sweet new edit from the talented Williams Perez out of Peru, nice to see some front wheel action in this one. Williams is mostly known for his back wheel riding, hit play!
James White – Birthday ride with Johann Chan & Jay Forde
James White organised a birthday ride out around the streets of London on Sunday, and met up with Johann Chan who just celebrated his birthday also and Jason Forde. Hit play for a brief run down of their day, fun times in the big smoke.
Jean William Prévost – Parle moi de toi
Parle moi de toi, Jean William Prévost. from Mukibrain on Vimeo.
Great insight into Jean William Prevost’s life in this “Tell me about you” interview by
Mukibrain, with amazing riding clips throughout. Everyone needs to watch this…
