Mates Tuček – July August September 2015

From the opening turbine guillotine pivot to crackpacker I was gripped to this new edit out of Mates Tuček. Quite possibly his best edit so far, so much to take in on both front and back wheel, but the hang ten pivot xft crack one foot xft half packer jump to crackpacker at 2:51 stood out to me on the first watch. Mates is killing it his year, definitely give this one a watch!

Trevor Oleniuk – Banality of BMX

Banality of BMX from thegoldfi on Vimeo.

Fancy watching something a lil’ different than the normal trick, trick edit. Trevor Oleniuk explains:

“Riding flatland is often about those few seconds of the day when you pull a new trick or link. Everything else is just sort of filler: riding to the coffee shop, riding to the spot, hitting curbs. I decided to film a new clip today, but instead of focusing on the clip I decided to focus on everything else. Everything that is otherwise banal or not exciting or whatever. It was a fun little project, and I’m glad I was able to get a new clip out of the way too.”

Moto Sasaki and Martti Kuoppa – Real City Spin

Moto Sasaki and Martti Kuoppa from JMK on Vimeo.

Jim McKay is working hard on an Real City Spin, here he drops a quick soundbite from his interview with Martti Kuoppa, heres what Jim had to say about it!

“Learn something from Moto as well. That it’s not always about first place. Sometimes you just gotta go for it, and make the difference that way. That was the major standout of the event for me.”
Martti reflects on Moto’s unforgettable final battle against Matthias Dandois for 3rd place in the Pro finals of Real City Spin 2015. Probably the biggest moment in flatland contest history, with some sage commentary by one of the top riders of all time.”
