Toul BMX Jam 5 – September 12/13th
Thierry T from Esprit BMX dropped in some information for the up and coming Toul jam, read on:
“The Toul BMX jam 5 event is taking place September 12/13th in Toul, France. It is a skatepark contest and a flatland jam.
Flatland jam
Jam all the weekend where each can evolve freely and participate in the challenges to win gifts.
The ” One minute combo ” contest will allow the best pros to win the prize money. The rule is basic, the riders will have to do tricks to realize a combo of maximum one minute.
Prize money 400€ minimum.
The flatland area is take place on a concrete basketball ground and handball ground (new surface). It is situated along the ramparts of the city of Toul, surrounded with a big grassy area where we could chill in the sound of a DJ.
In case of rain, there is a indoor spot with concrete floor available.

Ares have been working on this gum non marking A-class tyre for a while and looks like it is finally available. Ideal for those who like to ride indoors. Keep an eye out for these.

Fat Tony caught up with Deco’s Chad Degroot for Episode 30 of “The Expansion Project”, Chad had always had plenty of projects going on, this is well worth a listen!

“My guest today is one of the most influential BMX riders of all time and entrepreneur extraordinaire Chad DeGroot. He is one of those people who has had so much going on for so long that picking and choosing what to cover in a one hour interview was super difficult.
On the entrepreneurial side, he’s owned two different skateparks that had a huge impact on the BMX scene in Florida. He’s put on numerous events and competitions, and currently owns a BMX company and bike shop.
On top of all that, he is a husband and father of two kids. The list goes on and on. If you’re a fan of BMX, you definitely do not want to miss this episode, and if you’re not into BMX, I think you’ll still get plenty out of it, so check it out!”

Vienna Jam – 26th September
Sebastian Grubinger got in contact with some nice jam news for the end of September. The annual Vienna Jam will take place at the legendary Heldenplatz riding spot in the city on the 26th September, supported by Heresy with also guest appearances from Alexis Desolneux, George Manos, and Matthieu Bonnecuelle! This promises to be a heavy jam for sure, get there if you can!
