Check out this Welcome edit featuring Bryan Huffman to the Reklamation Bikes/Quest BMX Team.

Bryan is a flatland legend from the South. Starting in 1987 and known for spinning and the color purple, Bryan continues to ride hard and progress despite nine knee surgeries (including a full knee replacement) and a full time job as an IT Manager. Bryan is the definition of flatland, struggling against the odds and finding a way to ride when others would have thrown in the towel.

Old Skool George’s Bike Benefit

Sad news today!

On August 18th, 2013 at the Sonoma Bike Expo in Santa Rosa, Ca., life-long flatland BMX rider, Jorge Luzuriaga, was assaulted and beaten badly by a handful of thugs. After being hit on the head and continued to be beat, kicked and punched, Jorge was left unconscious in the street with a multitude of broken bones, kicked in teeth and a dislocated shoulder.
With the beating, the thugs stole his new phone, camera, camera equipment and his beloved flatland BMX bike.

I have met OSG many times on my trips out to California. One of the nicest guys, he is a true rock for the Nor Cal BMX Scene/Community.

His close friends have already raised $934. If you can help, hit the link https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/2aE5c

Mark Kuhlmann – King of Concrete Hype

Mark Kuhlmann arrived yesterday from Ontario, Canada for the King of Concrete competition this weekend at Southsea Skatepark. Mark was kind enough to drop an xft halfpacker combo he’s been working on for the contest for a lil’ King of Concrete hype. Mark is looking dialled, hitting all his contest combos numerous times last night.
Joe Cicman arrives today from Ohio, USA. I have a few things planned with all those riders in town, so stay tuned. Flatmatters!

Shane Badman in Southsea!

Yesterday was a good day! The build up to King of Concrete this weekend is in full swing. And my good mate Shane Badman rolled into town last night, unfortunately he can’t make the KOC as he’s attending a wedding in Bath. We had a flat session in the rink like old times (Shane used to live in Southsea) and caught up about life, ladies, travels, injuries and of course flatland. Always a pleasure to catch up with one of the raddest guys I met through flatland. Mark Kuhlmann arrives today, with any luck I will shoot a few videos this week.
