Interesting opinion. But the thing with contests, your not judging what’s brand new, just because something new, doesn’t make it better. And as you said Nicolas, super clean! It’s a run! I thought the backwards wheelie whopper out pedal to pedal was brand new this year?
That Whopper link is brand new but i hear where Nikolas is coming from if its originality we are looking at then half of Terrys and Matthias tricks go back years
Brand new = originality if its years old then it is nit classified as original somebody else may be doing it .
Theres also the whopper to the pedals in the first run is so clean and powerful, as a result of the flat/street crossover. Terry has pushed that trick in my eyes, its cleaner to the pedals, than landing to the frame. You can progress by cleaning up your tricks as well doing “new” tricks….

yes but the definition of progression is to move forward not tidy up sloppy errors
Lets take it another way, someone learns a whopper to the frame, can only pull it once a week. Then he/she goes up a level and can do it every day, then can repeat it multiple times day lets say getting ready for a contest. Then becomes so consistent at them, they then clean it up further by landing straight to pedals. That is progression. Heres another example, if Terry lands that katrina without touching the bars, thats progression, that would be whole different trick. Terry go do it hahaha
