“Battle in the Rockies is being organized by flatland mad man James McGraw and Recklamation Bikes. James has been recognized as a true rider, who has rode for the love of flatland for 30 years strong. He has traveled the world competing in some of the most renowned contests in flatland history. His goal for Battle in the Rockies is the same as that of Voodoo Jam- bring together the best riders in the world and showcase the brotherhood of flatland to the world. With the help of Recklamation Bikes, James is organizing what is sure to be one of the most memorable events in flatland history. James is using his 30 years of experience as a competitor to bring a contest to his home town of Colorado Springs that will showcase the best attributes of all the contests he has ever participated in around the world. The goal is to showcase flatland, offer prize money worthy of the talent, have a venue that allows riders to excel rather than fight a surface that is questionable, have a panel of judges that are without doubt knowledgeable and unbiased and most importantly have a contest and after party that will allow every rider on every level to feel like a rock star.
