“Flat & Street revolution! The hottest name in the flat circuits Matthias Dandois will be representing all the flatlanders at the Simple Session 12 and will be throwing down some flat inspired street moves in the contest.”
Everyone knows the direction Matthias has been taking his riding recently, and it will be interesting to see what he throws down at the worlds biggest street/park contest. Flat/street revolution?

BMX comes full circle again! eaton and jones used to compete in the 2 hip meet the streets, Akira entered everything at Rebel jam, be interesting to see what Matthias does in the contest!
yes and i love it. i think right now bmx is going in skateboard direction. u know, technical tricks on ledges etc.

Bringing this back to a point made in the “less is more” discussions (albeit in a much different context), is that it will be interesting to see how the judges score Matthias, given that his style/tricks will be so uniquely different from his competitors.
The same way that it’s difficult for judges to score Steve Mulder’s or George Manos’ short combos/tricks compared to the longer combos in a flatland competition, possibly being due to the fact that it’s harder to comprehend the difficulty, it should be interesting how Matthias’ style and riding gets ranked among the street/park riders.
Nonetheless, good exposure for Matthias/flatland.
