I started using a snafu gyro cable mod for my VIKIbrake and it works really well and is a lot cheaper to replace and easier to work with than the KGB cable. Only problem is there is no room for adjustment so you have the brake pretty much exactly where you want it before tightening anything down. It is the same as the old Dragonfly gyro mod except that in place of two normal brake cables, you need to use two non shimano road bike gear cables, They are not as strong as brake cables but I still haven´t broken one.
I know this makes no sense to someone without the VIKIbrake. I love the brake though. Just tried a lot of different alternatives to the VIKIcable.
Best advice I ever heard from Viki ¨you shouldn´t fix your bike in public and you shouldn´t let other people fix your bike, You should do it in your living room with your mom cooking a meal, coffee, and the tv on.¨

Yeah right I am riding breakless and so far I have learnt 4 new original tricks. I keep my brake for the shows because I perform in crazy places! Next year new style:-)
