Far East Cycles hub inventor Ashao gets together with Jean William Prévost to take the hub apart and put it back together as they give some tips on how to use it and assemble/disassemble it correctly. Enjoy!
Later Next week once I get BMX Cologne and Urban Waves out the way. I will drop a big interview with the man behind Intrikat, Chad Johnston. It seems like as good a time as any to re up his amazing “Must Watch” pegless part.
Some of my personal highlights:
-Opening stem mccircle to scarlo tomahawk whip line at 00:04.
-Bar flip to pedal 5 in circle foot jam bar scoot line out at 00:20
– Mixing the old school and new school with a Quick bar spin pedal 5 to cowboy out at 00:40.
-Stem karl to double foot karl full bar flip out on bb/chainring at 1:25.
– The bar flip pedal 5 turbine back forward without scuffing is amazing at 3:53!
Amazing quality in both riding and edit quality in this short, sharp edit out of Nick Watts. Multiple shove it’s to smith or Catapult or whatever you care to call it. RAD is the word!
This year’s BMX Cologne finals was one of the best I have ever witnessed, particularly the top 5! Insane level of riding form everyone, and it takes a special something to take the crown at BMX Cologne, when you mix hard tricks that no one else is doing back to back from the start and a flawless run. Dominik Nekolny is the man, congratulations Dom! Winning the title for the Second year in a row to boot!
The machine that is Matthias Dandois is always on point, like I already said in the results new post. Matthias has not touched in 2018, and coupled with great choice in music track and the energy he puts into his run, made this finals run a fun one to watch!
Yu Katagiri is 13 years old and it’s gifted with the skills of a seasoned pro. In Cologne he fully cemented his name in the minds of everyone, hit play for an absolutely incredible run that took third place in a stacked BMX Cologne final.
Top five at BMX Cologne is huge, style cat Benjamin Hudson making it look easy. Like Sietse, so light footed around the bike and so easy on the eye. Hell yes Benjamin!
Yohei Uchino brought the Katagiri brothers right into the flatland spotlight this weekend at the BMX Cologne, it didn’t quite happen for Ucchie in finals nevertheless hit play and watch what he did pull to take the sixth spot.
So great to see Terry Adams back on the big stage where he belongs, as James White said ” The best smile in the game”. Terry took home the seventh place spot with his own unique tricks and style, Terry always manages to light the crowd like nobody else and really draw the spectator in.
The 8th place spot went to Sietse van Berkel fresh on Deco BMX and one of the most unique styles in the game, play close attention his technique. So light on his feet around the bike, so rad to watch.
