It’s been pretty quiet the last week or so, but looks to be picking up once again. Enjoy this new Day 1 clip from Viki Gomez, that seems to suggest another clip tomorrow? Regardless it’s always good to see fresh Viki footage.

Moto Sasaki’s WagwanBMX Prototype

Moto Sasaki and Yohei Uchino are moving quickly with the launch of WagwanBMX! Just caught this first photo of Moto Sasaki’s Wagwan prototype. below I translated what he had to say so some things may be a little off….
“I have launched a new bmx brand with one of world champion Uchino Yohei👍🏻
Finally in August! ︎
And I think most of them already knew.
In about 12 years, he left the brand of jykkjapan, a new wagwan, the world champion, uchino uchino.
I’ve had a lot of trouble this year and I have a little late start, but I think I’d like to go around all the time.
We’ve been talking about six months and we talked about it.
I’m going to have a lot of anxiety about new things again, but I’m going to try to cheer you up.
I don’t care about the sale is coming soon ⁉ ︎ I’ll say 😁
Come and follow us here 🙏🏻
@wagwan_bmx
I’m happy to be able to ride with you all the time!”
Catching Up with Dave Nourie
At the 2017 BMX Cologne contest I caught up with 80’s Haro Flatland BMX legend Dave Nourie. We talk about his ordeal of getting to Cologne, his new Haro ride, stories from the 80’s Haro tours, his heartfelt responsibility to keep the old school alive in a new school era at contests, and a whole lot more. I even learnt that Dave did not invent the stubble duck which I thought was the case for years, this is a good one. Don’t miss it!
Sietse Van Berkel – 7th Place BMX Cologne 2017
One of my own personal highlights from the 2017 BMX Cologne was getting to see Sietse Van Berkel ride again. Qualified in 4th, ended up in 7th place in a stacked pro final is no joke at all! One of the freshest styles in the game right now, don;t sleep on this one and watch out for an amazing save towards the end of his run that had us all stoked and screaming!

Barre Neirynck – Linking Up Part 1
Solid new edit out of Barre Neirynck out of Geluwe, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. I especially liked the Pedal 5 line at 00:28 where Barre just keeps going and you think the lady in background will walk in the way but she doesn’t. Good stuff Barre, looking forward to Part 2 already…
Wolfgang Sauter – 6th Place BMX Cologne
It was great to see Wolfgang Sauter back in the mix this year at BMX Cologne, bringing his unique style back to the contest scene. Good vibes and great riding and foot control!
