Must Watch: Viki Gomez / Rise 6

RISE 6 from Viki Gomez on Vimeo.

Viki Gomez drops us 6:55 of fresh footage, a nice Christmas treat. There’s a lot of lines featuring his new two footed peg wheelie jump to switch foot steam, good to see Viki’s riding outside of the contest forum, get your teeth into this one and get out there riding.

Once again Sevisual on the editing duties, you know this is good.

This is also a good time to say, have you voted for the year end awards yet? Check the post below this and get to work.

Thanks Viki for sharing this…

  1. A Christmas gift to BMX as a WHOLE , indeed ! Just like when he dropped the Regenerations edit with his innovative section in it. Whenever the BMX Hall of fame inducts another flatland rider……..it better be this cat. His creativity just doesn’t stop after all these years. Caught the inside junk yard roll , switch to x-arm , bike flip to single kick and roll left cross lard , hand off , switch feet to rope spin right away . As well as the steam drop to rocket climb over to forward death truck , walk over . …..and that came AFTER the switch he just freaking learned .That Penonzek rocket jump to Cobain roll , jeez , man……not to mention backwards double footed back yard rolls outta turbines shouldn’t look that effortless , ha….Ucchie and him have em on lock . I’m really stoked on this. Viki never disappoints …..constant progression , making it look like someone casually doing a chilled back stroke , swimming or something…too smooth. Thank you for posting , E !

  2. Thanks for that one and all the others before! Gotta love how everything’s so dialed and smooth, always gives me the feeling I can jump on the bike and bust some of it out…then after trying, reality syncs back in. Gravity exists as it does, Viki’s on his own level. What a beast.

  3. Thanks for posting, E! Great edit, music and, of course, riding.

I haven’t seen much of Vicki recently (is he not contest riding these days?), so his stuff really is a breath of fresh air. Style, flow and technicality in a perfect blend.

    • Timeless as always. Could fit in a Baco video.I love when he brings back some concept and puts his twist on it, this time the x footed lardyard.
