This week myself and Matti Hemmings met up with Dan Margetts in Bristol on a really hot day at the Millennium Square riding spot.
Dan was a staple on the UK contest scene from around ’97 to 2010, it was great to catch up with him and have a flat session away from the contest environment, look out for a podcast with him soon.
Many of you might not be too familiar with Dan’s riding, thanks to Matti for filming this one whilst he’s unable to ride. Enjoy this one!

Nick Watts – Garage Flatland / May 2018
Nick Watts is a flatland legend down under, but outside of that scene not many people have heard of him until recently when his Facebook videos have blown up on social media. Now Nick has taken to youtube and this edit is rad! You definitely want to sit down and pay attention to this one, I especially loved the 360 cowboy/footjam straight to tomahawk at 00:56! Hell yes Nick!
Bert Ribul – Whipcade
Awesome new short edit featuring Bert Ribul bringing a new variation to the game shot by Dmitri Shushuyev, half cab whopper direct to foot jam decade that brings back memories of Martti Kuoppa’s full whopper mega spin direct to foot jam decade a couple of years back. Hell yeah Bert! WTF indeed….
Benjamin Hudson – Santiago de Chile 2018
It’s always a pleasure to see Benjamin Hudson ride, the man moves around the bike like no other in the game. Enjoy this new edit filmed in Santiago, Chile at a rad looking spot that looks secluded from the wind, but not leaves…
Must Watch – Rob Ridge / Still rides a Standard
Years and years of craft go into riding like Rob Ridge does, in my mind Rob continues the style of riding that made Rick Moliterno and Kurt Schmidt infamous on the BMX scene during the 90’s so it’s more than fitting that Rob rides a Standard. Besides the obviously very technical riding style Rob is blessed with, which began with years of flatland riding. What I admire the most is Rob never followed any trends at all. The man is as real as it gets, go watch this! Thank you Rob!
Giannis Caternellis – Freestyler #87
Trick machine Giannis Caternellis just hit 2,500 combos documented that is quite a bag of combos to get down on tape, go watch his latest right here. Respect due.
Khaled Huerta – Before leave the Kingdom
It appears Khaled Huerta is leaving the middle east, I am not sure as to where he is moving to. But he left us with this sick back wheel line for the mean time, skills on the front and back!
Minato Sato – 1st Place Fise Expert Class
12 year old Minato Sato made the trip down to Montpelier, France from the Bike days contest and took home first place in the expert class. Thanks Kevin Meyer for sharing this, what a talent..
Old School Sundays with Steve Goates
I’m back after a few days off, giving the Dub podcast at the top of the site. Let’s kick our sunday posts off with a name I haven’t heard anything about since his bio in Go Magazine back in the day. Steve Goates is this week’s OSS and his 17 plus expert run from 1988 AFA Masters in Carson, California. Dialled!
