Throwback Thursday with Chase Gouin
It’s been a while since I posted this amazing section of Chase Gouin, from the Chasing the View off the Cliff video, filmed in 1994 with bonus footage of Chad Degroot, Day Smith, Bill Nitschke and Ross Smith at the BS Contest in Chicago, in 95.. This is well worth a watch, timeless riding!
Alberto Moya – In Crescendo
Alberto Moya – In Crescendo from IGI BMX on Vimeo.
In Crescendo is a self filmed/edited by Alberto Moya. It was filmed in different spots around Japan: Nagoya, Noda, Kawasaki and Matsudo. Really enjoyed the concept of this production and how the edit builds, great work Moya!
“In this video I try to play with the tempo of the riding and the tempo of the classic musical piece by Edvard Grieg In The Hall of the Mountaing King. My goal is to make it visible that BMX Flatland is about the Rythm and Tempo”
MUSIC : The Hall of the Mountain King by Edvard Grieg.
Nick Watts – 3rd June 2018
One of the raddest things going on in the flatland scene right now is Nick Watts back riding and documenting his sessions. Hit play and watch this one, some rad saves in this session edit filmed on the 3rd June at his garage riding spot down under. Yes Nick!

Throwback Thursdays with Sam Foakes
I last posted this Sam Foakes edit in 2011, so it is certainly time for a re post! Incredible lines in this one, some in the dry, some in the pouring rain and high winds at the TGM. The back to back lines no editing from 00:41 are still to this day jaw droopingly amazing, and for everyone that keeps asking me yes Sam still rides when he has the time.
Etienne Bergeron – Crackpacker Progression 2015 to 2018
Enjoyed this visual diary of Etienne Bergeron’s progression on crackpackers, and variations to boot with Etienne battling the weather out in Levis, Quebec Canada in parts. Good stuff!
Matti Hemmings – Furthest BMX Limbless Manual
Limbless flatland moves are so hard no matter the move, there have been a few I recall over the years Chad Degroot, Simon Marsan, Lee Musselwhite more recently and now Matti Hemmings. Matti recently rolled 18 Meters on a limbless manual, which is a unofficial world record. Skills!!
The Dan Margetts Flatmattersonline Podcast
I met Dan Margetts last week in Bristol for a flatland session. Dan was a regular on the UK contest flatland scene during the 2000’s, and vanished all of a sudden. I said to Matti Hemmings, what happened to Dan? Find out more about this seedy fella who doesn’t drink beer because it tastes like earwax…..
It seemed like the perfect time to find out what’s going on with Dan and where his mindset is at. If you don’t know Dan’s riding, check the recent Worcester to Bristol edit out on Flatmattersonline!
