Lockdown slowly looks to be easing, and producing exclusive content for the site has helped me stay active during these difficult times. Last times is intended to be a quick and easy read, and I am picking riders I feel deserve some coverage. Next up is French shredder, Maxime Cassagne! Read on….
We continue on, making it to the Episode 26 without breaking much of a sweat at all on dropping exclusives twice a week. Thiago baby from Brazil came through with a super smooth back to wheel front wheel line for the 26th episode. Thanks to Thiago for contributing!!
The clips have however have now dried up, we may have a first dry spot this Sunday unless someone comes forward with a clip.

It is super rad when riders send in exclusives without even being asked, and Romulo Guerra from Brazil was one of those dudes to step up.
I have been stoked on Romulo’s riding for a long time, and it was awesome to meet him last year in Cologne.

It’s that time of the week, welcome back!
Episode 24 is already upon us, and James McGraw has been sitting on this rad clip for a couple of weeks now. I don’t know what was harder for him, the opening double inside switch-b turbine out to switch foot peg wheelie filmed at this backyard riding spot or keeping the clip off line (insert sarcasm). Anyone who knows James will know what I am talking about..

Welcome back, it’s time for q Flatmattersonline special exclusive this week brought to you by Plywood Hood Brett Downs and UK Honorary member, James White to celebrate the birthdays this week of Kevin Jones, and Mark Eaton!
After Steffen Peter’s 20th episode, I wanted to reach out to different sections of riders across the board, and also react a little but with what’s currently going on in the flatland world. Hence this Plywoods Hoods special, we can’t thank Kevin and Mark enough for their contribution to flatland, but we can celebrate it and show our respect to the Hoods!
I’ve had a few issues with copyright the last couple of weeks, and it reared it’s ugly head again with James’ chosen track from the Dorkin’ videos. If you experience problems with the track being muted, I have uploaded the link to Vimeo.

You can count on Joe Cicman to throw a spanner in the works, during this scary unknown time for all of us. Let’s roll with it, three exclusives this week. And the joke artist himself, Joe Cicman is calling NBD, the first to get 2 FM exclusives back to back, at least in the new series as I did 30 odd clips back to back when I first started the FM exclusives back in 2010-11.
The control on this no handed rebate is something else, and I like the simplicity of the composition of the line rather than throwing this in a massive line where it would get lost. This is focussed, there’s a place for everything for sure.
On Sunday, I will be dropping a special FM exclusive dedicated to the Plywood Hoods, Kevin Jones and Mark eaton who celebrated their birthdays this week. Stay tuned for that.

Welcome back, it’s that time of the week where I introduce the latest exclusive for the FM series. And today, we have a nice treat from Joe Cicman!
Joe as many of you will know is quite the flatland joke artist, meme creator, and generally busts everyone’s balls all things related to flatland.
It’s often quite easy for me to forget how good of a rider Joe is, and he steps up for today’s exclusive with a move I think he calls a “Fajita Whip”. Joe can correct me and I am sure he will if this is wrong.

If you are paying attention to the clips you will have made the observation, the first 19 exclusives have all featured professional riders.
For the 20th episode, I wanted tO change things up, and reach out to an amateur/expert rider, and one of my favourite AM riders in particular Steffen Peter. I’ve been sitting on this awesome clip for a few weeks, and wanted to save this one for the 20th episode!
I wanted to show these clips are for everyone, if you have something you are stoked on, I want to see it and I am sure the flatland world do too. Inspiration comes in many forms for all of us. Thanks Steffen Peter for contributing!

It is hard to put into words the influence that the King of Ground contest has had on flatland since it’s inception, from all sides of flatland, the groundbreaking riding styles, the inside wooden contest floors, use of the battle format, waving of the flags for the judges result. I feel like no matter what I say, that would be only the tip of the iceberg.
I hit up Yasuyuki Takeo, one of the people behind the scenes that helped get the King of Ground up and running along with Takashi Ito, Kotato Tanaka, York Uno and a few others. I’ve lost track how many times I’ve posted a KOG video, and hit rewind numerous times just see what the hell happened. I wanted to know more about behind the scenes information of one of the most influential contest series to happen in flatland history.
