Flatmatters Manchester Session

Manchester is well known for it’s rainfall. This weekend whilst I am in Manchester for some Skyride show Sam Foakes had the idea to hold a session to get the riders together. Luckily the weather was really good, which is rare when it is raining everywhere else. 13 riders showed up, really good vibe! Above is a shot of Andy Hale in the midst of a sick two footed dump truck double pivot combo. I will be posting a repo next week, and I believe Chris Massey will be posting up an edit too. Thanks to everyone who came out!

Like I said yesterday about Jim McKay’s videography, the same rings true of Erik Otto’s work. Erik is always on hand to capture the best riding, I don’t know about you, but whenever I watch a York jam edit I am always hoping for some Kevin Jones footage, which has yet to happen. But.. check out the riding of Bryan Huffman, TJ Perry, Nao Yoshida and many more, good vibes in York, PA!

Without a doubt the best edit I have seen from the Voodoo Jam 2012 and theres been so many! This edit by Jim McKay captures it all, a beautiful piece of work, from one of the best videographers in the flatland game! Just go watch this, you will see what I mean!

I am in Manchester next weekend doing “Skyride” shows, so whilst in town myself and Sam Foakes have got together and organised a lil’ session/meet up for all the riders around that area! So if your in and around the Manchester area next Saturday, or if you just fancy a trip up or down to ride with the locals, get involved! Sam kindly dropped this “7 Coathanger turbine” clip for a lil’ promo for the session!
