Raphael Chiquet & Céline Vaes win Fise Experience Final Stop in Grau du Roi

Congratulations to Montpelier couple Raphael Chiquet and Céline Vaes won the the FFC French Cup final which took place at the final round of the Fise experience contest series in Grau du Roe this weekend.

Celine took the Gold both for the stop and the overall, as well as his guy Raphael who win this final battle with Thomas Noyer. Thanks to Marie Rolland for sending in the news and a nice media pack of photos from the event.

One Love Jam 2019 – January 19th

The first event of 2019 is the 9th annual One Love Jam in Newport Beach on January 19th, MLK Weekend. Soak up the Cali sunshine and get some good quality riding time in at the beach. Billy Borys Documentary

There aren’t enough documentaries about flatlanders that tell their story. Just came across this Billy Borys documentary once again that I haven’t watched in a while. I was fortunate enough to ride with Billy at the ESPN Seal Beach contest in 1998 and this documentary brought back some great memories for me from that time period. Billy if your out there, I hope your riding still. Respect.

Alex Jumelin wins Chimera Games Replacement Contest in Tokyo, Japan

Congratulations to Alex Jumelin who just won the Chimera Games replacement contest in Tokyo, Japan followed on the podium by Viki Gomez and Fumiya Kanna and Jean William Prevost tied for third. Alex won all three of his battles to take the spot with a final battle against Viki Gomez. The event almost didn’t happen because of a big storm arriving in Japan but Trinity Skatepark saved the day and a replacement contest went ahead. Big up everyone involved making this happen despite the weather conditions.

The weekend is almost here, and here is a nice feel good jam edit from the recent 4th Tariflat jam in the Alps at Annecy. Tricks, challenges, cheese, food and beers. Lots of riders came this year from Lyon, Grenoble, Zurich, Paris and more.
Autum bicycle helped out with parts and support and The Roster for the delicious burgers!
