Autum Kunstform Berlin Flat Jam / Friday 11th May

Daniel Fuhrmann sent in details of a flat jam/contest happening this Friday in Berlin at the Mellowprakr, so your going to have to be quick. One for the German riders checking out Flatmatters that can’t make the Fise contest?

“On Friday 11th Matti from Autum bikes in cooperation with Kunstform will run a flatland jam and on saturday there will be a BMX Flatland Contest at the BMX festival Highway to hill at the mellowpark in Berlin. The highway to hill bmx festival is one of the best bmx events in germany and i’m happy that flatland is now a part of it. As well german riders can earn some points for the german flatland champions there.”

Dustyn Alt – 2nd Place Bike Days 2018

Flatland is full of surprises, the contest floor is a level playing field, and Dustyn Alt sprung a big one this weekend at Bike days taking home the second place spot with a one touch run and nailing his banger first try. Dustyn was in some heavy company, tomorrow I will drop a lil’ insight video into his run and some of the battles he faced during his run. Congratulations to Dustyn once again on the second place, enjoy his run!

Matthias Dandois – Street / Flatland

A couple of months back out of the contest season, Matthias Dandois spent a month over in So Cal working on a street/flatland part for Haro. During that time he took a savage slam which you can see first clip in which resulted in a big medical bill. So its safe to say Matthias put some work in on this edit, this was fun watch and the last rail is a beast! Balls of steel doing that, not to mention the rest which is nice mix of flatland and street, go watch it!

Repo: Bike Days 2018 / Day 2

It’s Day 2 of the Bike Days contest, and already yesterday I felt like I have been in Switzerland for a week and it’s only been since late Thursday night. Relaxed lifestyle, old architecture, very clean almost every where you look, and amazing Swiss typography that brings back memories from my university days.

Saturday is all about qualifying, I headed down to the contest to post the Day 1 repo before we got started judging the contest at 3. When I arrived Dominik Nekolny was the only rider on the floor, and as usually completely going off, it’s really hard to try and update the site whilst wanting to watch Dom ride and go through his practice routine all on board the Deep Blitz frame, Frank Lucas was stoked.
