Stuck at home and wanting some live riding entertainment, Terry Adams and Matthias Dandois will be battling live on insartgram later today, read on!
“Today, Matthias Dandois and Terry Adams are going to be putting on a show for fans from their respective homes in very different parts of the country.
Matthias will be in his tight NYC apartment he shares with girlfriend Constance Jablonski, battling Terry who will be in his slightly-more-spacious garage in Hammond, Louisiana. They’ll be battling each other virtually in those tight spaces, trying to make the most of the current situation and give fans watching live tomorrow @12pm CT on @redbullbike something to enjoy.”
Episode 15: Flatmattersonline Exclusives with Benjamin Großjohann
With the Flatmattersonline exclusives dropping twice a week, the updates feel like they are coming thick and fast for me. One of my favourite things about putting FM together is the surprises I get, whether its someone I haven’t heard from in a while, a new video, some news, or in this case Benjamin Großjohann hitting me up with a clip for episode 15!
I haven’t seen much footage of Benjamin for a while, and he’s a name I don’t see on social media either, which is a rare thing these days.
Benjamin comes through with an amazing back wheel line holding the tyre that you don’t want to miss, filmed in Berlin, Germany. Thanks Benjamin for contributing!

Chase Gouin: BMXicos 1998
Before Cream Magazine, there was the BMXicos posse that ran a print magazine and produced a few videos included this great one featuring Chase Gouin, that includes interview, great riding footage and Chase explaining each line as it goes down around the 2:21 mark! This is well worth your attention, I don’t feel many across the globe will have seen this, so I will stager the posts out today to give this one some time….

Snakebite BMX just uploaded a lost gem from the archives, I feel like not many of you will have seen this video from 1993. West Coast 4130 documents the So Cal riding scene featuring sections from Edgar Plascencia (4:58), Sean McKinney (12:10), Day Smith (24:26), mixed section 29:26 featuring many more riders like Gabe Weed, Andrew Arroyo, Jesse Puente…. Plenty of time to kill at the moment, and this one is worth a watch and a trip down memory lane. West Coast style!
Episode 13: Flatmattersonline Exclusives with Rodolphe Clavelier
Welcome back, it’s that time of the week. It is time for episode 13 of the Flatmattersonline exclusives, I am loving the riders off their own back just getting in contact with fresh clips. Case in point, right here with French rider, Rodolphe Clavelier.
Rodolphe opens episode 13 with a super smooth hang 5 jumplash to steam without holding the seat and lands on the same foot, tough one and the line builds from there.

Kevin Nikulski leaves Autum
BIG news today, and a surprise to me at least. Kevin Nikulski just announced on his instagram page, that he is leaving Autum. I would presume he has another deal set up, here is what Kevin had to say:
“Have to announce that I’m not longer apart of the Autum bikes and deepAutum…after almost 5 years. I decided to go a different way! Its tome for changes! It was a blast to represent the company and the time with the team was even better, a true fam. Thanks for everything, high five.”
Doesn’t sound like we will have long to wait on Kevin’s new sponsor, stay tuned!
Get well soon Joey Kyllo!
Today I wanted to send out a massive “Get well soon Joey Kyllo” from myself here at Flatmattersonline HQ, and I am sure I speak for the whole of the flatland community as well! Joey took an awkward fall whilst riding at his home riding spot in Vancouver, Canada. Drop a comment and let’s show Joey some Loe and much needed motivation during this difficult time. Here’s what Joey had to say:
“I broke my fibula and tibia in my leg. I wish I could say it was a crazy switch, but I was only doing a peg wheelie cross foot switch (inside to outside) when my leg caught on the seat and I fell backwards and my leg bent behind my back. I got a rod inserted in my leg yesterday and was discharged today (Tuesday 14th April). I should be back riding in about 4 months.”
